Q: My board is too hard to turn, what do I need to do?

A: Loosen the big 9/16” nut on your trucks a half turn at a time, you don’t want to make them too wobbly. Experiment with different settings to find your comfort zone

Q: The board wobbles when I get going fast – help!!

A: First off, relax when you ride. Don’t stiffen up, this hinders your smooth riding ability. Next, tighten the big 9/16” nut on your trucks a half turn at a time. Make the rear truck tighter than the front, you want to steer up front and have the rear track behind. Try starting part of the way up the hill your first time till you feel comfortable at that speed. Then move a little further up the hill when you start, always stay in your comfort zone! Soon you will be cruising from the top in a relaxed manner.

Q: My drop down deck rubs on the ground, what should I do?

A: The 60911 Drop Down Pinstripe board is very low to the ground for LDP, or long distance pushing as well as getting the center of gravity as low as possible for downhill stability. This can come at a price – board scraping. It can happen if you’re an aggressive rider. No big worries. The 60911 is a drop down drop THOUGH setup with the trucks through mounted to the deck, in other words the truck baseplates are above the deck. What you will need to do is top mount the trucks, not a hard job. Remove the hanger from the truck via the 9/16” nut on the kingpin. Then remove the hanger with the wheels on it. Then unbolt the baseplate and remount it under the deck with the mounting bolts going through the deck and through the baseplate which is now underneath. Re-attach the hanger with the wheels and you’re back in business.
